As farmers we know that nature is our most valuable factor and therefore work according to ecological standards.

With the integrated viticulture (KIP), another area has been established in recent years in near-natural cultivation methods, which combines environmental protection and nature conservation with economic efficiency and social interest. This interaction of ecology, economy and social interest is based on the concept of sustainability and expresses that improvements in one of the three areas must never be at the expense of the others.

It all starts with the planting or renewal of the vineyards – with the right choice of grape varieties, flowering areas between the rows, wooden trellises, the use of modern and low-emission machinery and much more.

Careful attention is paid to the processing of the grape material, modern machinery is used and electricity from photovoltaics is used. The year-round water heating and the heating of the premises in winter is done with heat from wood chips.
