Award with the WKO seal of approval for crowd-investing platforms

Crowd-investing platforms have the opportunity to voluntarily submit to the rules of conduct of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. These rules are not generally applicable and therefore show a particularly high quality standard for crowd-investing platforms. Danube Angels has committed itself to these rules of conduct.

The Professional Association of Financial Service Providers of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber has drawn up comprehensive rules of conduct for crowd-investing platforms. However, these are not mandatory for crowd-investing platforms, but can be adhered to voluntarily. All those platforms that commit to these rules undertake to provide more extensive information to their investors, must undergo regular training and comply with stronger transparency rules. This is reviewed by the Honorary Court of Arbitration of the Professional Association of Financial Service Providers.

Externally, a commitment to comply with these rules of professional conduct is recognizable by the seal of approval for crowd-investing platforms. Only platforms that comply with the code of conduct and undertake to adhere to it are allowed to bear this seal of approval. In Austria, 14 crowd-investing platforms currently bear this seal of approval.

Danube Angels is also one of these platforms and is committed to providing comprehensive information to investors, regular training and compliance with stricter transparency rules.
